Hi. Thanks for clicking. I’m pleased that you’d probably like to know some things about me. My name is Norlene, born in the year of the Water Tiger. I was born and raised in one of the coldest cities in the Philippines—Tagaytay City.

CAREER

I am a licensed nurse by profession and a teacher by heart. I’ve been an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor for over ten years now. After graduation, I started joining training institutions such as IELTS (International English Language Testing System), TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), and other English proficiency programs. I’ve also worked as a supervisor, a trainer to colleagues and students, and a team leader.

INTERESTS

Setting a new skill is interesting. When I was young, I used to play musical instruments such as the piano and flute. I also had formal training in martial arts—KUNGKADO (Kung Fu, Karate and Aikido) and other physical sports like badminton and basketball. At this time, I get addicted into playing Clash of Clans, mastering a deck of cards, and cooking any ‘experimental’ food. Most of all, I’m a huge fan of Doraemon as he has made a great impact in my life.

PASSION

Having pets is one of the most crucial decisions I’ve made and I didn’t regret considering them as part of the family. When it comes to my profession, I usually spare time at least twice a year to do some volunteer works and help organize medical missions in some communities.

GOALS

Learning is a continuous process as it has no age bar. Being part of Face to Face Language and Culture School, we encourage everyone to progressively enhance one’s confidence and capabilities in terms of English communication. Teaching is a self-rewarding experience. Seeing the students motivated is priceless.

Thank you for reading. I’d like to invite you and join our growing family. I look forward to meeting you soon. 🙂
