Course Overview

We, Face to Face English School, offer many unique courses. They can be changed or added after enrollment.

ESL (Daily Conversation) course

This is a general English conversation course for very beginners to advanced students.

For beginners, the course will focus on a conversation about everyday topics such as common phrases, names of things, asking for directions, hobbies, ordering at a restaurant, etc.

For intermediate-level students, we provide in-depth training to enable them to express their opinions on various topics, taking them one step beyond the daily conversation.

For advanced-level students, you will learn the correct way to construct sentences and idioms so that you can discuss academic topics and complex content in a logical manner.

TOEIC/TOEFL/IELTS course

This course is designed specifically for the TOEIC, TOEFL, and IELTS certification exams. It provides a well-balanced study of speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills.

The focus is not only on teaching techniques to improve scores but also on developing practical language skills that can be used in real situations. Our professional teachers will help you to identify your weak points and maximize your improvement in a short period through quizzes and practice tests in class.

Business English course

You can learn Business English as well as Daily English Conversation. Using business-related topics, you will learn business vocabulary that is difficult to learn in daily conversation. Writing business e-mails, proposals, and telephone conversations can also be taught as needed.

Medical English course

Besides daily conversation, this course is designed for those interested in learning medical conversation in English. In this course, you will learn some expressions necessary for medical care, such as “throbbing pain” and “prickling pain,” role-playing interviewing patients, checking vital signs in English, simple anatomy of the human body (anatomy) and diseases (physiology), and more.

We have a qualified teacher who is a licensed medical professional. You can also deepen your knowledge of medical care in the Philippines.

University Admission Support course

This course supports students to enter famous universities/colleges in the Philippines. They have been attracting more and more attention in recent years because they are characterized by “all classes are in English” and “tuition and living expenses are one-third to one-fifth of those” in Japan.

First, we provide thorough training in the basics of English conversation so that students can pass the admission examination. Afterward, we help them select a school, submit an application form, and prepare for the interview and paper test. This course also includes intensive training in academic writing and reading so that students can keep up with high-level English classes after enrolling in a university/college.

Working Holiday Preparation course

This course is ideal for students planning to go on a working holiday in Canada, Australia, etc., after studying in the Philippines. While studying in Tagaytay, you will learn some expressions for customer service in restaurants and cafes, along with the usual standard English.

We can also introduce you to agencies for those looking to study in two countries. You will be able to approach your working holiday with confidence from preparation to departure.

Bible English course

This course teaches you to learn English related to Christianity and daily conversation. Students will learn the basic contents and phrases of the Bible in English, transcending doctrinal and denominational differences.

Students will also deepen their understanding of the history of Christianity in the Philippines. We use the Bible, “the New King James Version,” and the plain “New International Version”. It is possible to take this course even if you are not a Christian.
