“Experience a safe and secure life in the Philippines”

We, Face to Face English School, offer you the opportunity to not only learn English but also to experience different cultures.

Since the Philippines is not your home country, there are many inferior aspects such as science, technology, construction, and public services that are not perfect.
However, there are many unique attractions that can only be found in the Philippines. We hope that you will enjoy your life in the Philippines 120% of the time, which you cannot experience in your country.

Most of our students who studied with us evaluated the city as safe and at home in Tagaytay.
It is one of the safest places in the Philippines, and the weather is remarkable. You will find many convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby, making your stay convenient.

On the other hand, Tagaytay is surrounded by mountains and lakes, making it an excellent location surrounded by nature. There are also beaches and diving spots nearby, offering various activities.
With its clean air and beautiful starry sky, this location offers a “Life in the Philippines” that you cannot experience in urban areas such as Manila and Cebu.

Dormitories

We have the following residences;

“Chill Chill House”
This is our main dormitory, which has a good view and is located outside of the subdivision.

“General dormitory”
Located in the subdivision.
*Please note that it may be closed depending on the season. Kindly contact us for details.

“Condominium dormitory”
Located outside of the subdivision. For those who prefer to stay in a fully private room.

The photo shows the accommodation (Chill Chill House) where our students stay. It is a shared house-type dormitory where they live together with our teachers. The concept is to create a relaxing space where students can feel as if they are at home.
It is natural to feel anxious and worried when you study abroad for the first time. You may feel isolated in your room in a huge hotel-type facility.

However, our accommodations are completely small-group share house type. We try to ensure a perfect mix of private space for each student and a homelike common space. We have devoted ourselves to creating a stress-free environment where you can engage in study and, at the same time, enjoy interacting with a diverse range of people.

Depending on your preference, you can choose from the following room types;

– Single room:
With a toilet and a shower in the room.
– Double room:
With a toilet and a shower in the room.
– 4-person room (general dormitory only):
With a toilet and a shower in the room (or outside the room)

Equipped with:
Refrigerator (in each dormitory), water dispenser (in each dormitory), microwave oven (in each dormitory), gas stove (in each dormitory), electric fan (in each room), WiFi (in each dormitory)

Chill Chill House

Newly built dormitory with spacious rooms and a very good location with a great view.
This is a famous building known by many influencers in the Philippines!

General Dormitory

The dormitory is mainly open during peak season (closed during some months). The photos are an example of one of the available dormitories. Others will generally look very similar.

Condominium dormitory

All rooms are completely independent hotel-type rooms. Suitable for those who prefer complete privacy. Each room is equipped with a toilet, shower, and kitchen.

Laundry and Cleaning

Cleaning staff will frequently change bed sheets and clean your room (maximum 3 times a week). Laundry service is also available 3 times a week. Our cleaning staff is very cheerful and gets along with students very quickly.

Also, we have a private janitor. If any problems occur (such as clogged toilets, light bulb changes, facility repair, etc.), we will take care of them immediately.

We provide an environment where students can concentrate on learning English without being distracted by cleaning and laundry.

Internet

You may want to use the Internet to do research or communicate with family and friends in the Philippines.

The Internet connection in the Philippines is inferior to Japan or other developed countries, and there are many places where no Internet connection is available. We want to provide the most comfortable Internet experience possible, so we have placed high-speed WiFi for business use in each of our dormitories. In addition, whenever a new Wi-Fi service comes out, we upgrade it to improve it.

On the other hand, the connection can be affected by problems with Internet providers or bad weather conditions in the Philippines. The speed may be limited if a large amount of Wi-Fi capacity is consumed (e.g. downloading huge amounts of data, etc.). Therefore, downloading large volumes of data is not permitted in the school.

*If you wish to use Wi-Fi exclusively for personal use, you can purchase a SIM card locally (100 pesos) and sign up for a monthly pre-paid plan of around 1,000 pesos to set up a high-capacity plan for one month for yourself. You will need an unlocked cell phone to enable it to use in the Philippines. If you don’t have one, you can purchase a pocket Wi-Fi (about 1,000 pesos) locally. For more details, please feel free to ask us after you come here.
