I graduated from Adventist University of the Philippines in Nursing in 2012.Being a nurse is different from being a teacher, but I took the risk to become a teacher. After I graduated, I worked as an ESL Teacher. I am a responsible and a hardworking teacher. Moreover, being a sociable person, I have many friends since I like to communicate with people and get to know new interesting individuals.My goal is to help students communicate well using English. My name is Karen.I have been teaching English online for more than 8 years now. I cater to Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese learners of English. I handled all level of students from beginners to advanced level. I have taught IELTS and TOEIC. I’m Teacher Kat 25 years of age. I took up Bachelor in Secondary Education and majored in English. I also studied Business majoring in Management last year. I’m a person who is positive about every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, to see, and to experience. I like to read, I like to write; I like to think, I like to dream; I like to talk, I like to listen, I like people, I like to laugh, and I want to share these things with you. My teaching style is based upon the request of the student, for example it is often hard for students to understand why a certain topic is important to them. I try to use lots of examples in class that show why you need to understand something. If they can see how they will use the language in their everyday lives, then that might help. Having them do everyday tasks (dialogues, situations, etc.) might help them see the relevance. Here in F2F, teachers make a conversation with students every day, we can boost their self-esteem, improve their knowledge, and increase their desire and willingness to study English successfully toward their goals.

I am Bryan. I teach mainly grammar and speaking seeing that many learners tend to be conscious in grammar when they speak. I decided to change my major from engineering to English when I was in college. At that time, I was really fascinated by the creative and elaborate construction of English language from words to sentences, to paragraphs, to what have you. It also amused me how we can express our thoughts using the international language—whether through a single word or lengthy paragraphs. After I finished Bachelor of Arts in English, I taught English to elementary students, exercised my communication skills with British, and taught English as second language to Asians. In all of these, I was able to find myself loving teaching the international language more and more. And through all of these, I always had English as my first language. I guess I can’t be 1-meter away from that language anywhere I go.
